Newborn

Your little one will grow so quickly, and those first few weeks may pass by in a blur of sleepless nights and feeding frenzies. As time goes on, the little details of your precious newborn—those tiny fingers and toes, milky smiles, that adorable button nose, pouty lips, and even the little pimples—might become harder to recall. Let us capture these fleeting moments for you to treasure forever.

At Louise Kaye Photography, we offer both studio and in-home lifestyle sessions, tailored to your preference:

Studio Sessions – Our newborn studio sessions focus on a beautifully posed style of photography, capturing the delicate features of your baby in a timeless, artistic way.

Lifestyle Sessions – Our in-home lifestyle sessions take place in the comfort of your own home. If you prefer a more relaxed, natural feel, this option is for you. We come to your home and create stunning art that authentically reflects your life and who you are as a family.

FAQ

When should I book in for my babies Newborn session?

To secure your booking, it is advised that you book in after your first trimester. We will pencil in your due date and once your baby arrives let us know and we will make a firm date and time then.

Where will the session take place?

Depending on your preference either in our studio for a 'posed' shoot or in the comfort of your home for a 'lifestyle' shoot. We suggest that if you are choosing the lifestyle option you have a nice sufficient space for us to shoot in. This can be discussed upon booking.

Are parents and siblings able to be included in the shoot?

Absolutely!! In fact we encourage parents to get involved and be included in some gorgeous photos with your little one. Your baby will be forever grateful for these when they are all grown up. If you are camera shy, never mind we have some ideas where you can be in the photo and still feel comfortable about it.

How long will the session take?

Please allow up to 3 hours for your newborn session. When working with newborns we let them take the lead. We give them plenty of time to feed and settle as they need.
